Trigger, surgeon, and parrot fish

Trigger and file fish:

White-spotted filefish, Cantherhines macrocerus

The white-spotted filefish can change its color pattern in a few seconds.

Scrawled filefish, Aluterus scriptus

Surgeon fish:

Ocean surgeonfish, Acanthurus bahianus

Doctorfish, Acanthurus chirurgus

Blue tang, Acanthurus coeruleus

The projections at the base of the tail are as sharp as scalpels, so these are called surgeonfish.

Parrotfish:

Princess parrotfish, Scarus taeniopterus (male)

Stoplight parrotfish, Sparisoma viride (male)

Called parrotfish because their teeth are fused into a strong beak for biting off coral.
