There were many mongoose in the Serengeti. The tricky part was photographing them before they ran away.
Dwarf Mongoose (Helogale parvula)
The dwarf mongoose likes to live near termite mounds.
Unstriped Grass Rat (Arvicanthus sp.)
The elephant shrew refused to come out where we could photograph it.
