The Brother Islands are the tops of two undersea mountains two-thirds of a mile apart, 50 nautical miles offshore near Quseir, 125 miles south of Ras Mohammed and 40 miles east of Port Ghalib, and are part of the Marine Park. Little Brother has many soft corals. The lighthouse on Big Brother was built by the British in 1883. Two shipwrecks, the Numidia and the Aida, lie off the northern end of Big Brother.
There is wall diving along the entire perimeter of both islands, with a wide variety of pelagics.
