We visited the South Island of New Zealand in January 2025 for Chatlotte to take a mountain flying course.

Queenstown area:

To be sure of seeing and photographing some of the endemic wildlife, mostly birds, we first visited a wildlife sanctuary in Queenstown.

We also took a gondola ride to a hill above town for some scenic views and for lunch.
