Coldfoot

Coldfoot is a truck stop on the Dalton Highway from Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay (Deadhorse), the world's northernmost truck stop. The town was originally a gold rush mining camp called Slate Creek, on the Middle Fork of the Koyukuk River near the mouth of Slate Creek.

Coldfoot Camp is a converted Trans-Alaska Pipeline construction camp quarters.
