We traveled to Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, in October 2023 so I could fly a hull seaplane, a 1981 Lake LA 4-200 Buccaneer, with Kurt Gross of Wings Air Charter. N80126 is a 1981 aircraft with a 200hp Lycoming IO-360 A1B engine. I flew around Petenwell Lake and Castle Rock Lake, as well as the nearby cranberry-growing areas and the Wisconsin River. The airplane is based at Alexander Field South Wood County Airport, KISW.
