We took an underwater photography trip to the Philippines in December 2016.
The name "crinoid" comes from the Greek word "krinon", meaning "lily". They are also called feather stars. The mouth is surrounded by feeding arms.
There are many species: Comanthus sp., Cenometra sp., Himerometra sp., Colometra sp., Lampometra sp.
