The hands-on, six-hour, Anika Bali Cooking class taught us about the fresh herbs, spices, and other ingredients the make up Balinese food. We visited the market, then prepared and feasted on a complete Balinese menu: fish curry, shredded spiced beef, chicken satay, fern lawar, sweet corn patties, fragrant yellow rice, fried rice (nasi goreng), fruit in coconut milk, and fried bananas.
