Sea kraits are semi-aquatic venomous sea snakes. They have wide ventral scales for moving on land and paddle-shaped tails for swimming. Sea kraits are oviparous and must come to land to digest food and to lay eggs. They are not aggressive.

There are seven existing species of sea turtles. Six are found in the "coral triangle".
