Kerta Gosa is the Hall of Justice in the town of Semarapura, part of the former Semarapura Palace, home to the highest ruler of Bali. The ceilings of the two pavilions are richly decorated with traditional style paintings made by artists from the nearby village of Kamasan. This is the largest display of Kamasan-style paintings, well over one hundred images illustrating various stories from the Hindu epics Mahabharata and Ramayana. This is a popular place for pre-wedding photography.
