Ecuador Photo Gallery: Mindo cloud forest

We visited Ecuador in November, 2019.

The Mindo cloud forest is a mountainous area of the western Andes west of Quito off the main highway to Esmeraldas. Elevation ranges from 3000' to more than 11000'. The area is a big tourist destination due to its biodiversity, with many private reserves, particularly protecting hummingbirds. More than five hundred species of birds have been recorded in Mindo.
