Cape fur seals (Arctocephalus pusillus)
Found along the Skeleton coast, especially at the Cape Cross seal preserve.
Chacma baboon (Papio ursinus)
Found near Windhoek, where they are considered a nuisance, and along the seasonal rivers in Damaraland. They are not found in Etosha because there are no trees for them to climb to escape predatory lions.
Black rhinoceros (Diceros bicornis)
Fairly common at night near waterholes in Etosha.
Giraffe (Giraffe camelopardalis giraffa)
Found in bush areas.
Zebra (Equus quagga)
Common in Etosha.
Warthog (Phacochoerus africanus)
Common in Etosha, warthogs can be a driving hazard near Windhoek.
