Squirrelfish and soldierfish

There are forty species of squirrelfish, subfamily Holocentrinae of Holocentridae fish, all nocturnal. At least 14 species are found in the Maldives.

Soldierfish are a subfamily, Phyrpristinae, of Holocentridae fish. Eight species are found in the Maldives.
